A “Cheers to 80 Years” celebrating long time member Pat Shearer on his date of birth of Saturday, September 2, 2023, will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 356, 21 East Street, Sutton from 2-4 p.m. with remembrances at 3:00 p.m.

It is with deep regret and sadness, that we must inform you that Comrade Art Arsenault passed away today 25th August 2023.
Art was a Veteran of the Royal Canadian Artillery. A long-time member of the Branch and a life a Life Member. He had held numerous executive positions including Sgt at Arms and Veterans Affairs. He was also widely known within our community. Especially at Sobey’s and Tim Hortons!
There will be a Final Salute to Art:

Where: Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Rd, Sutton.
Dress: Full Legion Uniform, with white gloves and headdress. If no uniform suitable civilian attire.
Details of Legion Memorial or Celebration of Life will be passed on when known.
There will be 5 dinners offered this month at a cost of $15 per dinner. Dinner is served at 5pm while supplies last. Everyone welcome.
